“The Other Me” is special song because it’s dedicate to me. A song in which I need to love myself and keep a positive output for a more optimistic life. The conception of the song was inspired by a dream my friend told me. It was about how he encountered a younger version of himself wanting to be friends with him. I thought it was an incredible story and I asked if I could convert his dream into a song. He was thrilled when I asked him and gave me the green light. I took the concept further of seeing your other self in the other verses in which the 2nd verse was about seeing my reflection in the mirror, and the 3rd verse where I see a vision of myself as an old man. I was very proud of this track because I felt like this was my most mature song in terms of the writing and the message I was getting across.
